High School Programs

High school students encounter increasingly complex conflicts involving relationships, leadership roles, academic pressures, and digital communication. At this stage, students benefit from learning skills that prepare them for adulthood, including navigating difficult conversations, taking responsibility for mistakes, and repairing harm within their communities. These programs help students strengthen leadership abilities, develop accountability, and build communication skills that extend beyond school into college, workplaces, and personal relationships.

Restorative Circles (Grades 9–12)

Restorative circles provide a structured space for students to discuss challenges, reflect on their actions, and rebuild relationships after conflict or harm occurs. The process encourages open dialogue while promoting accountability, empathy, and understanding among participants.

Circles may be used proactively to strengthen community within a classroom or team, or responsively to address tension or incidents that have affected a group.

Peer Mediation Training (Grades 7–12)

Peer mediation programs prepare students to support their classmates in resolving everyday conflicts before they escalate. Selected student mediators learn how to guide structured conversations between peers while remaining neutral and respectful.

Students are trained to help their classmates talk through disagreements, identify underlying concerns, and explore possible solutions together. The process promotes leadership, empathy, and problem-solving while helping schools reduce minor disciplinary referrals.
